Back to School and Retail Stores

Is it me just notice or retail stores start early the Back to school sales? Suddenly I notice on TV stores like Walmart, Staples, Target, etc.. are just hitting hard my TV screen, I definitely understand the fear of low sales with this economy in the US and around the world, but at the same time I have to say that as a company the should not worry, we parents are stuck with a list that we receive from school, and we really dont have a way around it.

They should also realize that just a few parents are ready for this shopping spending and most will try to wait as much they can or, we will divide our shopping in parts. Example, clothes, shoes, school supplies; or if you have more children it becomes more complicated.

Maybe I am just hallucinating this early advertising and is been like that all the time, maybe the pressure is getting the best of me, either way, lets just hope I get a chance to get some of this sales before they are out, or I will be in a big pickle.

Learning to say No.

Sometimes saying no is hard to do, it could be to a boss, a family member, your children and even sometimes a stranger. But lets focus in our children, even when we keep saying "no, I am not going to buy it" and we repeat this a couple of times, guess what, by the time your out of that store door, you come out with the item your child want it.....You lost that battle.

Infomercials: How much I believe in them?

Have you lately notice how many informercials you can find in your TV lately? I notice, TONS. My husband things I am a sucker for them, and he is right!, the good thing is that he doesnt worry about me going crazy and buying just because, to be honest like many family we are under budget, but I guess he is right when he said that if we had the money you will see many in my home.

I took Hallie to a birthday party and I just wonder, how we end up buying presents for kids that I just learn their name when I got the Invitation.
